Peter Alegi is Assistant Professor of History at Eastern Kentucky University , USA . He has lectured in African history at Harvard University and Boston University , and in sport history at Tufts University . His research on the social and political history of sport in southern Africa has been published in international journals and collections. He is the author of Laduma! Soccer, Politics, and Society in South Africa (University of KwaZulu-Natal Press, 2004)
