Paxina Mwenya Siamubi was born in Livingstone, Zambia. Attended primary school in kabwe and proceeded to secondary school were i obtained school certificate.
Enrolled at Malcolm Moffat college of education and obtained a primary teacher's certificate. Later i enrolled at chalimbana in service college and obtained a primary teacher's diploma. Furthermore i enrolled at university of Zambia and obtained a Bachelor's degree in primary education and in 2013 i enrolled at university of Zambia in the school of education and graduated with Masters Degree in primary education.
Worked as a primary school teacher at Broadway School in kabwe, district resource centre coordinator, education standard officer General Inspection and now is the District Education Standards Officer in chisamba district of Zambia.

Constraints of Integrated School Curriculum on The Teaching and Learning of Physical Education in Selected Primary Schools in Kabwe District

The study aimed at investigating the constraints of integrated curriculum on the teaching and learning of Physical Education in primary schools in Kabwe District in the Central Province of Zambia. Despite the Ministry of General Education introducing integrated school curriculum in Zambian primary schools, teachers encounter problems in the teaching of Physical Education in primary schools.
A case study design using the qualitative methodology was used to collect and analyse the data. Simple sampling technique was used to select teachers and pupils, while purposive sampling was used for school headteachers and interviewed separately as informants making a total sample of 80.
The research found that Physical Education promoted interactive teaching and learning atmosphere, collaboration and willingness to share and development of leadership skills. Other benefits included promotion of self-discipline, cooperation, self- esteem thereby enhancing academic performance. The study revealed that inadequate teaching and learning materials, negative attitudes towards integration, inadequate knowledge about integrating Physical Education with other subject areas and large classes were constraints encountered in integrating subject areas.
The study concluded that if the teaching and learning of Physical Education could be effective and efficient in the integrated curriculum, there was need for schools to enroll required number of pupils, provide adequate and modern materials and equipment while improving on infrastructure and motivate teachers and pupils.
The research, therefore, recommends that Eduction Standards Officers must scale up their monitoring of schools and teachers to ensure schools and teachers were implementing the integrated curriculum in all primary schools.
